Farmilo Fiumano Gallery

There are two things a visitor will immediately realise when visiting Fiumano Fine Art Gallery. First, the gallery displays such a wonderful mix of contemporary art that it would take a hardline philistine to not be won over. The second thing is that the gallery is owned by a woman who is as animated and engaging as the works that she displays.

Francesca Fiumano had an epiphany at eight years of age after seeing Michaelangelo’s Pieta in St Peter’s Basilica, Rome. Half Italian, half English, Francesca’s renaissance at such an early stage in life is clearly evident in her gallery. An art enthusiast, she has studied History of Art and Contemporary Critical Theory. Her application to the field is energetic as well as vastly experienced, thanks to time spent working in both Christie’s and Bonham’s auction houses before pursuing her dream of owning her own gallery.

Fiumano Fine Art hosts around ten events per year and showcases works from an impressive array of artists with 2008 sure to be another year of amazing art exhibits
