Old Delhi restaurant on Kendal Street is established as one of the finest and oldest Indian and Persian restaurants in London. It has been serving Persian food cooked by Persian chefs, for almost 20 years now and traditional Indian cuisine for over 50 years.

The restaurant is currently run by Sam, having been in the same family since it opened, and has always been situated in its current place in the village. The ‘OD’, as it is fondly referred to by regulars, has charmed many visitors over the years including the late Benazir Bhutto, who also recommended it for her Cabinet Ministers to visit, and Freddie Mercury. It continues to attract visitors from princes to ex Prime Ministers to Agha Khans.

Old Delhi’s charming ambience and wonderful blend of Eastern dishes attracts people from all walks of life and corners of the world when they are in London. Old Delhi Café is now open until 3.30pm with its entrance on Porchester Place and offers a lunch buffet.
